COURSE RULES
- ALL PLAYERS MUST REGISTER IN THE PROSHOP PRIOR TO THEIR TEE-TIME
- Start only with the permission of the Professional or the starter. Special Note: a Marshall/Starter and the Course Professional ultimately govern all course play and general regulations.
- All players must start from the 1st tee, unless permission to do otherwise is obtained from the Pro or individual on duty.
- Players are prohibited from cutting in at any time, without permission from the Pro or individual on duty.
- Players stopping after the 9th hole forfeit their position and must await permission from the Pro or individual on duty to resume play on the 10th tee.
- Slow Play - slow players must wave a following group through when one full fairway gap develops. Course Marshall has control over slow play.
- Place all discarded bottles, cans wrappers, cigarette butts, etc. in the many garbage containers provided.
- Throwing golf clubs or other items is dangerous to other players and may result in disciplinary measures.
- The following points of etiquette should be considered as local rules:
a) Replace divots
b) Repair your ball mark on the green, and two more.
c) Use rake to smooth out irregularities created in the bunkers
d) Place the rake inside the bunker after usage
e) Do not remove ball from cup with blade of putter
f) Flag stick must be laid down gently and not dropped or thrown.
g) Keep pull cards off tee areas
h) Do not pull carts between bunkers and the green.
- Further local rules may be displayed from time to time as circumstances dictate.
- Children of members under 10 years of age are allowed on the course under the following conditions:
a) The child must be transported in a power cart. Waling with, or caddying with a pull cart is prohibited.
b) The child must remain in the cart at all times when on the course.
c) The child must not be allowed to hit shots or putt on green during the round unless they are specifically there to play golf after 6:00pm.
d) The conduct of the child is the parents responsibility
e) The parent assumes all risk and liability for injury on the golf course.
- Failure to comply with the aforementioned rules may result in suspension.
- "Speed of Play" rule is in effect at all times. Players in and 'out of position' situation will be asked to move to the next tee box.
- Hitting more than 1 shot onto the green by one individual unless specified by the rules of golf is prohibited.
POWER CARTS
A) The Superintendent of Grounds makes the final decision for allowing power carts on the course in inclement conditions.
B) Members are allowed use of priveately owned power carts on the course provided the cart has been approved by the Board of Directors. If condition of privately owned carts becomes a concern, the cart may be denied access to the course.
C) Members, as approved by the Board of Directors may rent a power cart from the Pro Shop at an annual fee determined by the Board.
Annual cart rental by singles does not include a second golfer.
** Non-compliance of these policies may result in disciplinary action and/or loss of playing privileges.
