I am happy to inform the membership that the new member scorecards are now available in the pro shop.

We have attempted to produce a practical scorecard for members, free of advertising and with increased, usable space to write up games played. Another objective has been to revise and update the Rules of Golf as they apply to our course. This was a particularly difficult task in view of the many anomalies on the golf course.

Please keep in mind that what was done has taken into account consultation from the BCGA, the history of the golf course and how it plays. Any feedback from members in the use and practicality of these cards would be welcomed.

We would like to thank Eric Grant, a member, who helped finance most of the costs associated with producing the new score card.

We would also like to thank several people for their input to this new and revised card, especially Val Haslam, Michael Fisher and Rita Murphy.

We hope you agree that this is a first class, practical scorecard for member use, produced at little cost to the club. The new cards will be available in a box placed on the pro shop counter next to the scorecards available for the general public.
