Three Ledgeview Golfers
Compete in the US Amateur

Three Ledgeview golfers, Lucas Bogdan, Adam Hadwin and Nick Taylor successfully qualified for the 2008 US Amateur.

Three Ledgeview Golfers set sights on U.S. Amateur
The tournament was played starting Monday, August 18th at Pinehurst Resort & Country Club, on courses #2 and #4. On Monday and Tuesday a 36 hole medal round took place, with the top 64 players moving on to match play. The match play rounds were held exclusively on Pinehurst #2.
Medal Round Results:
During the medal round, Nick Taylor at even par and Adam Hadwin at +3 advanced to match play.
Lucas Bogdan shot +8 for the two rounds and did not make the cut for the match play portion.
In the 1st Round of match play on Wednesday Morning:
Mike McCoy, of West Des Moines, Iowa defeated Adam Hadwin in 19 holes.
Nick Taylor defeated Trent Sanders of Scottsdale, Ariz. 3 & 2.
In the 2nd Round of match play on Thursday Morning:
Nick Taylor was defeated 2 & 1 by Kevin Marsh, of Henderson, Nevada.
Unfortunately now, all three of our Ledgeview golfers are out of the competition, but what a great showing from our club's golfers. Congratulations to Adam, Lucas & Nick.
