Taylor, a graduate of the British Columbia Golf Association (BCGA) Player Development Program and member of Ledgeview Golf Club, has had tremendous success over the past three seasons dating back to his victory at the 2006 Canadian Junior Boys Championship. The 20-year old would then go on to capture the 2007 Canadian Men’s Amateur Championship and advance to the semi-finals of the US Amateur a week later. He capped off his stellar 2007 season by being named to the RCGA National Men’s Amateur Team.

With his victory at the 2007 Canadian Men’s Amateur Championship, Taylor has already secured himself a spot in the 2008 RBC Canadian Open, July 21-27 at Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville, Ont.
