Ledgeview Golfers Prominent at NCAA Championships
Kampen Course, W. Lafayette, Indiana

Two Abbotsford golfers did well at the NCAA Division One championships from May 28th to 31st at the Kampen Course in Lafayette, Indiana.

Yale high school golfer Nick Taylor , a sophomore at the University of Washington in Seattle finished tied for 2nd with University of Indiana golfer Jorge Campillo. Both shot one over par over the four rounds.

Taylor manufactured 7 birdies for a tournament low 66 in the second round and lost to the individual winner, Kevin Chappell a senior out of UCLA by only 3 shots. Taylor finished 5 shots ahead of the fourth place golfer. The Washington Husky star led his team to a plus 54 finish and a 7th place overall finish.

Adam Hadwin, a national team member with Taylor and a junior at the University of Lousville, finished tied 54th with a score of plus 22. A Bateman grad, Hadwin is in his 3rd year with the Cardinals.

He has had 3 top 5 finishes this year and helped his team to a plus 61 tenth place finish.
