Ledgeview Golfers on the Leaderboards
across Canada and in the USA

Sunday, August 26, 2007
What a week, and weekend it has been for Ledgeview golfers playing across
Canada, and in the United States.
Nick Taylor
Last week, August 17th, Nick Taylor won the Canadian Amateur at Riverside
Country Club in
Saskatoon, Sask. Nick immediately had to travel to San Fransisco where he was
entered in the US Amateur. Nick shot 146 in the US Amateur qualifier and moved
on to the match play round. He won three rounds of match play before being
bested in the quarter finals. For all the details, click on our links for

Brett Webster
This weekend at the PNGA Men's Amateur Public Links Championship
in Eagle, Idaho, Brett Webster was the only player under par in the first
round, shooting at 2 under 69. Brett cooled off a bit in the second round
shooting a 77, for a two round total of 146, and finished in 10th place in this
prestigous Pacific Northwest Golf Association tournament.
James Lepp
This past week James teed it up at the Jane Rogers Championship, a Canadian
Tour event in Mississauga, Ontario. James fired rounds of 69, 73, 62, and 68,
for a total of 272. This left him in a tie for 5th place overall, and should
earn James a nice pay check.
Ray Stewart
And last but far from least was Ray Stewart, playing in the Boeing Classic
Champion's Tour event at the TPC Snoqualmie Ridge, in Snoqualmie, Washington.
Ray made the tournament by surviving a 10-man playoff in the Monday qualifier.
He then shot a 4-under 68 in the first round and was the surprising leader at
10 under par after two rounds..........
The third round proved to be a real dog fight with as many as ten players all
fighting for the title. In the end, seven players wound up tied at 9 under
par. Ray unfortunatley slipped back to minus 8 and missed the play-off, but
what a great showing by Ray. Oh so close to a full exemption on the Champions
Tour. The following article: Not Quite The Finish Ray Hoped For from the BC Golf News summarizes Ray's final round.
Congratulations to all our Ledgeview golfers competing across Canada and in
the United States
