Congratulations go out to longtime Ledgeview member Peter Dobson of Abbotsford who was honoured recently by Sport BC as one of a number of Community Sport Heroes. Dobson has been a mentor and coach to junior golfers since 1987, chairperson of the Bill Mawhinney Junior Development Tour, the Champion of Champions Junior Golf Tournament, and the Zone 3 men’s executive golf committee. Dobson has also been a zone director with the BCGA since 1997.

In addition he's also active with the B.C. Boxing Association, holding various executive positions with the provincial body including vice president of administration and policy development.
